Ⅲ.Eligibility:

●Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens in good health;

●Applicants who don’t study in Chinese universities at the time of application or have graduated from Chinese universities for more than one year;

● Applicants who apply for a master degree should have a bachelor’s degree under 35 years old;

● Applicants who apply for a doctoral degree should have a master’s degree under 40 years old.

a.Applicants directly apply to Yunnan Normal university. Please visitwww.csc.edu.cn/laihua or www.campuschina.org for the university list and more information.

b.Recommended candidates must finish the online application procedure at CSC Online Application System for International Students. Please go to www.csc.edu.cn/laihua orwww.campuschina.org and click Application Online for International Students, complete the required information, submit the completed Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship online and print it out.

c.A package of complete application documents (Please check Application Documents for the detailed checklist.) must be submitted to Yunnan Normal university before the deadline.

Ⅵ.Application Materials (in duplicate)

a. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship. ( one original and one photocopy in Chinese or in English)

b. A copy of the first page of the passport.

c. Highest diploma (notarized copies of degree certificate and diploma). If applicants are either students or have been employed, they must provide a study certification or the working certificate. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

d. Copies of transcripts. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

e. A study or research plan signed by the applicant in Chinese or in English no less than 800 words.

f. Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English written by professors or associate professors. (write title of professors or associate professors in letter)

g. A copy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form, bring the original ones when you come to China.

h. Priority will be given to the applicants who have New HSK level 5 or New HSK level 6. The Applicants should submit the copy of HSK certificate and transcript.

Note: The application documents will not be returned no matter you are accepted or not.
